Description

This 3-hour webinar covers everything you need to know about identifying module, circuit, and external causes of HS, MS, and LS CAN faults, including quick workarounds to rule out possible causes. Network faults can be tricky based on the physical construction of the network. In many cases, you can’t rely on the Scan Tool because many faults affect communication with all modules or the gateway the Scan Tool uses to access other modules. To solve these problems, we’ll show a variety of known good resistance tests, waveform patterns, at-rest, and active voltage. Besides these reference values, we’ve included many examples of various opens, shorts, and interference from the field on 1- and 2-wire CAN applications covering low, medium, and high-speed networks.
