Description
What this webinar is about...
Intermittent faults are frustrating because you can’t measure a fault unless it is present. This webinar is all about doing the right work up front. After a proper interview and some research, you’ll a strategy for duplicating the fault, and you’ll have the right tools and tests in place to give yourself the best odds of obtaining useful test results. The preliminary work and all of the tests are all simple, so it’s how you implement them that counts. As such, this webinar is best explained through case studies, so we provide a lot of them. These examples aren’t there in case you run into the same fault, but rather to explain how the disciplined process got us there in the least amount of time, and that applies to every vehicle. Cases also make the webinar more fun, allowing for interaction between the trainer, attendees, and the moderator as different options are discussed at each step.
Optional Webinar Manual:
This webinar is based on ATG’s ‘Intermittent Electrical & Drivability Diagnostic Strategies’ manual, which includes a small drivability section as a bonus. The manual includes additional case studies, a components section, additional information about DVOM functions, other tool usage, homemade load testing and relay testing tools, and worksheets for a good customer interview and tracking a disciplined diagnostic process.
