Description

What this webinar is about...

EV & Hybrid Safety & Service

Many technicians have been specifically trained to diagnose and repair high voltage systems, and that’s left everyone else wondering if they are able to perform other services. But almost all EV and hybrid services and repairs have nothing to do with high voltage systems. They still need brakes, tires, fluid and filter changes, air conditioning service, low voltage batteries, and many other ‘normal’ services. We cover EV and hybrid-specific issues as well, such as charging, towing, lifting, and even washing. Also included are discussions about confusing topics such as charge settings, operating modes, one-pedal driving, finding Neutral, and the many other ways that EVs and hybrids don’t behave like traditional vehicles.

Optional Manual

The optional 144-page manual is a great resource to refresh your memory when performing specific tasks. It’s a good guide to understanding when and where the high voltage system is active, when this affects your tasks, and when disabling and verification by a trained high voltage technician are necessary. The manual also creates a shop protocol for ensuring a chain of responsibility and clear communication.

PLEASE NOTE: All webinar related sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
