Description

What this webinar is about...

Small Diesel Diagnostics

In diesel engine management systems, systems are far more interrelated, so codes and symptoms can could mean just about anything. Unfortunately, small diesel service information doesn’t come with much information at all. This is partly because of ‘guided diagnostics’ and ‘test plans’ being written into OEM Scan Tools instead of within service information. Whatever the reason, it doesn’t leave techs much to work with. The webinar was written with this challenge in mind, so sign up to learn useful system and component information and interactions from actual observations and measurements, complete with known-good examples of PID relationships and useful Scan Tool controls.

This information applies to all smaller diesel engines (up to 3.2L), but specific examples are mostly from the following applications:

•   Mercedes 2.1L, 3.0L and some 2.7L engines used in various Sprinters, Mercedes, and Jeeps
•   Ram ProMaster 3.0L Inline 4
•   Ram 1500 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel
•   VAG 2.0L & 3.0L TDI
•   BMW 3.0L Inline 6

Optional Manual

Attend the webinar to learn from our instructor and moderator, as well as from each other through chat! Add the optional 288-page manual for great reference information when you apply what you learned back in the shop, including systems and examples there’s no time to cover in the webinar. Extra information in the manual includes swirl valves, DPFs, SCR and DEF, as well as greater detail for each of the topics covered in the webinar.

PLEASE NOTE: All webinar related sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
