What this webinar is about...

OEM flowcharts routinely make EVAP system diagnostics too complicated. Despite the wide variety of systems out there, our research has
revealed that a layered approach is much faster than the linear OEM approach, leading to a profitable diagnosis without the wasted (and
unbillable) diagnostic time or multiple trips for your customer. First, we will show you universal techniques applicable to every system. If
no leaks are found, the procedures become more system-specific, but not yet manufacturer-specific. All systems fall into one of four
categories listed below, and by following our universal procedures, you can still avoid the technical nonsense that typically lengthens
diagnostic times! Most faults are found using these first two layers. System coverage in this webinar includes:

  • Traditional & Split Purge/Seal Systems
  • Leak Detection Pumps (KOER & Key-OFF)
  • Natural Vacuum (EONV, NVLD, ESIM)
  • DMTL (comparative current flow)

From a simple high-level pass to system-specific tips, this seminar covers the entire diagnostic process. We have included dozens of real-world examples to prove that these strategies work quickly on the vehicle’s first trip into your shop. We are confident that this seminar will enable you to be a lot more successful in finding leak or flow codes, and in verifying proper component functionality.

Optional Webinar Manual
The optional manual includes manufacturer-specific and system specific tips and tricks for those cases where you’ll need to go that deep. This includes the best  backup plans for each system, which may involve a power probe, jumper wires, a gas analyzer, Mode $06, or other simple tools and methods to get your EVAP system to give up its secrets. Most importantly, the manufacturer-specific coverage lets you know which service information facts actually distract you from a successful diagnosis!
