Description

Diesel engines are very simple – just compress some air and fuel and you get combustion. However, with the advent of common rail fuel pressurization and delivery systems, diagnosis and repair became a complicated and time-consuming game. Add variable vane turbochargers, feedback EGR systems, and exhaust aftertreatment systems like Diesel Particulate Filters, Selective Catalyst Reduction, and Diesel Exhaust Fluid injection, and it’s hard to know where to start.
