While still working in the bay, part-time, he is well aware of what technicians deal with on a daily basis. In addition, he has a handle on the pulse of what real-world technicians are faced with daily, by working on a technical support hotline, where he handled 15-20 “Diagnosis to Completion” cars per day.
His unique way of putting things in laymen’s terms, has also helped him with another facet of his part-time projects, which is being associated with a nationally syndicated call-in radio show for the automotive consumer market.

Sean is from New Jersey where he attended Mercer County Colleges, Chrysler Dealer Apprentice Program (CAP for short). At the time he completed all the required courses on the automotive side of things and left the general education classes for a later date. He moved to California in 2003, where he did the aftermarket side of repair for a while, and in 2011 decided to go out on his own and open his own shop, NorCal Auto Service & Sales based in Chico CA. He specializes in California smog inspection, failure diagnosis, problem vehicles, and bumper to bumper diagnosis. March of 2016 was yet another milestone on Sean’s path towards technician training as he wanted to move into the educational side of automotive repair. Sean managed to complete his general education courses at Butte College and complete his AAS degree in Automotive Technology in 2017, and for him it was a huge accomplishment as he worked full time and attended classes at nights and when he could fit it into his schedule. He has a unique way of taking the most complicated systems and breaking them down into terms his customers could understand with little or no knowledge of how a vehicle works and uses that same technique in the classroom, not only to keep things interesting and entertaining, but to make sure everyone gets the point.
Sean also likes to cook for large groups of people, go boating and fishing when time allows, and has had a lifelong obsession with pipe organs.
